Diabetes type 1

Here’s the story on my friend! Her name is Alex DePriest and she had type 1 diabetes and passed away April 3rd 2018, at the age of 17. She was very well known in the volleyball community in Arizona and interacted with so many people and touched the lives of many. We wear pink in honor of her because that’s her favorite color. She truly was a happy, energetic and one of a kind person that made such a huge impact on peoples lives, and it was heartbreaking when she passed. Seeing everyone on social media post about Alex and post their pictures in pink just shows how many people she impacted.
